Trying new things is always a challenge but mandatory if you want something better, improve and push yourself into a new different level, you must put your mind to that objective . This anecdote starts just like that my first day in high school which seemed to be any special at the beginning but it would turn into a very important day in my life when I would meet two of my best friends.
For a boy who his parents had given him a head start by sending him to a private school all his life was a overwhelming situation suddenly someone had changed all the rules of the game and anyone had told him about it.
When I first set foot in the entrance it was a great feeling it was like Christma´s day when you open your gifts and you don´t know what you are going to get; what you are hoping to or something completely different and disappointing. All that I was used had chance, everything was bigger than my previous school, there were only few rules and the complete freedom to do all I always wanted to do. I thought that in my first day but quickly I realized that nothing could be further from the truth.
In the entrance there was the police booth you could enter without any problem all the year but if one day you forgot your credential, they didn´t allow you to enter. One of the fist thing that I notice was the main building with its characteristic cinder block walls which were useful because the classrooms were lit by daylight. And at the bottom of the school a soccer field, I was amazed.
I spend a wonderfull time in that place a lot of things turned out to be better that I expected but others were average and overrated. An experience which seemed endless in that time but now it looks so short

"An experience that seemed endless at the time, but now it seems too short". I guess many of us may look back to our high school days and relate to that feeling: it seemed that it would last forever, but it didn't and now you're about to graduate from college. Little do we know that this will apply for different periods in our lives, or even decades: our twenties, then our thirties and our forties. Just saying.
